Boers need their own homeland same as losotho and swaziland has. the boers worked hard and built that nation while today all the negros do is sing and dance and look more and more like zimbabwe.  half those negros in SA are modern day immigrants whereas the boers have been there for 400 years.

Then you don't know your South African history, the Boer Republics are part of South Africa and it isn't another whole piece of pie, it's South African history, you can't just pick one side over the other which makes your entire point moot. If you're going to try and debate that they never lost anything, then go around and call it something completely difference is just silly. Also, From the inception of the SA Republic in 1961 until "Democracy" in 1994, only 540 cases of racially motivated state killings took place. This was admitted by the ANC at the TRC hearings. Rumours were floated about black Mass Graves and Genocide, but investigation revealed it as a hoax. In 1902, black pop = 2 million. In 2012 = 45 Million.

@tdevry So you're basically breaking the rules because they are? I don't care if there weren't Zhosas or Zulus. There weren't any whites either before 1652. We are a rainbow nation. Dysfunctional, maybe, but improving, slowly, but surely. The ANC is losing votes and the DA, which is the true multiracial party in South Africa, is gaining. Patience.

@SuperWarmonkey Blacks now claim that whites stole their country which is partly true and a half lie. Fact is that there were no Xhosa's or Zulus in the cape colony when the whites arrived. They were still busy up north with barbaric tribal wars and cannibalism. It is now a i want and demand society which will never be a rainbow nation....racism goes both ways and reason has been thrown overboard by radicals on both so called sides which is also fragmented into small bits.

@SuperWarmonkey Do not use the term Afrikaners too broadly....we are not one nation as some might think. A Cape Afrikaner or a Natal Afrikaner does not have the same mentality as say one from the Transvaal. I love my country's history but one should learn and build from it and not be always bitter about the past. That being said it is sad that hatred and racism towards whites are escalating and fueling fanatical ideas. Guilt was why Apartheid was abolished in a referendum....

@MouzieCA What are you talking about? I don't care about the Boer Wars. I am talking about Afrikaners saying the ANC "stole" South Africa from them (implying that South Africa is somehow "theirs"). The British-Boer situation is a whole other piece of pie which I am not interested in at all.

Google, Treaty of Vereeniging and read it. It's showed how the Boer Republics were effective remove as republics and their own states and became colonies, it was till 1910 in which they joined the South African Union and formed the British South Africa. Also Google the Second Boer War and read the treatments done to the Boer people, I am sick of people thinking it was only the 'black' Africans who had it worst, but in reality the Boer had something as close as genocide too.
