Were definitely not afraid of Iraq and all these terrible countries like North Korea that are so big and terrible they could blow up... nothing. We are controlled by fear, fear that people will come to a theatre and kill us all, so we need to give up our guns. Fear of countries that could do absolutely nothing to devastate us, and real fear of our police force who continue to brutalize people every day. I'm not saying our world is like 1984, but its ignorant to say we are not controlled by fear.

Funny thing, I heard depression is the "sickness" of this century. I heard its growing even among ppl who have the more access to things in the world, the so-called rich countries... And the big majority of the planet, "just surviving" poor ppl from poor countries are not that happy neither. "Ignorance is bliss" can only go so far. So talk about yrself.

And no, ppl are controled by emotionality and instincts, whether in a church or watching a commercial, and the lacking of info on reality.
