honestly, they didnt "need" the extra back up member, cause even after head left they did a 5 piece tour and sounded great, but they wanted to do something fresh and add new dynamis to there live sound, I applaud any band that does that, and it shows that there not all about themselves and will let other musicians share the stage with them
