Alyssa has been a professional performer since 2007, working with various dance, variety arts, and circus companies across the US. Her passion is creating, choreographing, and performing unique and original aerial and ground circus acts. Alyssa's unique approach to circus arts is most evident in her original apparatus, the Trapizu, which combines the grace and lightness of aerial tissue with the solidity and tradition of a trapeze bar. Whether working with Aerial Silks, Trapeze, Lyra, Trapizu, or Acrobatic Partnering, Alyssa's performances promise to be innovative and engaging.
In 2010 Alyssa completed a year of professional development training at the New England Center for Circus Arts. While there she created original acts in Trapizu, Aerial Silks, and Acrobatic Partnering. Since then she has been performing regularly with producers like Cirque Imagination, Show Studios and Nimble Arts, as well as at notable venues such as New York City's exclusive cabaret The Box, at the Green Mountain Music Festival, and at a private event for clients such as hip-hop artist Jay-Z, Yankee Candle, and the American Heart Association.
