Five months ago, Sucker Punch released inFamous 2 onto store shelves, and as a digital download. Infamous 2 offered a far better gameplay experience from its predecessor, thanks to its improved speed and new moves. Now the engine and the first island of inFamous 2 are back in the new PlayStation Network exclusive title, inFamous: Festival of Blood, to tell a story of how the demon of New Maris, Cole MacGrath became and conquered his vampire affairs in just one night. Does this vampire tale offer what is to be expected of Sucker Punch, or should you avoid this with a loaf of garlic?

  • You called Cole "The demon of New Marinas" when he's actually called "The demon of Empire City". Second: inFAMOUS: Festival of Blood DOES NOT take place between the events of inFAMOUS 2. The game is basically you playing through a story that Zeke is telling the lady he meets at the start if the game.

  • @SirGerman3 Cole is a demon regardless of where he is. I understand in inFamous 2 he's considered to be "The Demon of Empire City," but now that he relocated to New Maris, and is currently doing "demonic" things there, he could be considered a demon of New Maris. I wasn't directly referencing his title, though.

The endings of inFamous 2 severly contradict your statement of time placement, so make sure you know BOTH endings.

  • you didnt even mention the UGC or any of the new UGC options nor did you mention the move support

  • @s1r0tt I haven't had a lot of time with the UGC, but from what I've used, it only added more narrative options to the editor by adding comic book-style scenes. I did not have a chance to try out the move on this game, as much as I wanted to, for I did not have the controller with me at the time of this recording. I wanted this review up, and going over the main aspects of the game, which is the campaign, seemed to be the most reasonable.

I had all but two of the trophies as of this review.

  • I got it for £4 soooo cheap

  • @MrGome120 only the first island

  • @TheLeoOfCostaRica thats been known for a very long time, and you can get slys cane as an add on, and there is a theater in the town with many easter eggs on the "NOW PLAYING" thing, like assassins need (for love), latchet and skank, uncharted love, solid snake the man. etc...

  • @quiroz923 she is, but not in this.

  • very cool review.i will be buying this

  • @CodyStation3 this entire DLC is just a story that Zeke makes up at a random bar to impress a chick. That could have happened at any moment during Infamous 2 as long as it was before the arrival of the Beast.

  • @TheLeoOfCostaRica Damn, you quick. [/sarcasm]

  • @MrGome120 its the exact same one except its halloween festive. It's completely open world just like infamous 2.

  • Huh, I always thought bloody mary was a ghost.

  • Hey, Cole has a Sly Cooper logo on his backpack!

    Awesome.
