A short demo of the Vintage Arp Solina SE-IV String Ensemble Synthesizer.
It is a one-trick pony type synth that is famous for its lush, built-in chorus ensemble.

This is considered THE string machine of the 1970s. Styx, Elton John, Gary Wright, Bee Gees, P-Funk etc almost any recording in the mid to late 70s (DISCO!) used one of these on their records.

Setup:
ARP Solina into Roland JC-120 amp

  • @Jimbob21ist1 Your answer is an answer from somebody born after 1980 or somebody who has no ear to hear :)

    No harm done.

  • It's a great example of the real features and sound of the Solina.

    Thanks for the share.

I am happy to say I own one 2. These Eminent organs/Synths rock.

Yet again I have to say I own several.
