We moved to Butte when I was 8 yrs. My dad pastored Butte First Assembly and my Mom was a school teacher there. They are both gone now and I miss them and the great childhood I had there. It was really a great place to be from. Thanks for the trip through my past. Great photos of very familiar places.

Awesome video! I grew up here as a little girl in the 1970's, my dad was transferred there when I was 6 mos old & then moved when I was 12. I got to experience the Columbia Gardens when I was 4 & 5. I used to trick or treat at Evel Knievel's house in the Country Club and his maid would come to the door with full sized candy bars! I love Butte & always will. I love the old builldings and charater also!

Thank you for posting these photos. My Dad is from Butte and I grew up visiting family there. My grandmother who lived on the corner of Alabama and Galena which is round the corner from you passed away on October 30. I saw some of these pictures of where she used to go, and places I regulalry visited when in Butte. This was touching thank you so much. Butte, Montana is a special place and I miss it a lot. I don't know when I'll get back there but I will. I've got a lot of Montana in my blood.
