Why Korea shouldn't have reached the 2002 WC 4th place

Korea takes FIFA's robbery as a present and pass through Italy and Spain playing really dirty... in front of referee's eyes...!!!

FIFA wanted to expand soccer merchandising through Asia and let Korea have their piece of cake for later, abandon them and let them lose against Germany and... Turkey...???

No blames on Korea though; they had an opportunity for doing something important in their soccer history and they took it. All fault is FIFA's for screwing up such a great sport as soccer just for their economical interests.

Bad referees are part of the game. Like Argentina and Germany who got the referee's blessings, Korea did not win. Well, Italy and Spain both won the Cup so I am certain those two countries are no longer upset about 2002.

im italian, and at 56 seconds it looked like a dive to me by the italian player, but the rest of the game seemed like a hockey game according to the koreans, and i dont understand why totti got the red. can someone tell me please?

2002 world cup CO-hosted by Korea AND Japan. If the games were fixed due to economic interests, I'm sure the focus would have been way more on Japan than on Korea, considering Japan has the second largest economy in the world, right under the US... Korea's is a mere 15th. So how come we don't see similar results with Japan? I don't think it was any conspiracy of FIFA... rather, it's just the nature of the game of soccer right now. Every other sport allows chances to review calls except soccer
