Playing around with Beryl (Ubuntu 6.10, Beryl 0.1.2). Nvidia 6600GT + Athlon 64 3000+ @ 2.5 GHz. Playing two Videos (720x576 Mpeg2) at the same time and Videocapture using XVidCap (DivX coding)

  • Kickass desktop, I can't wait to get Linux for the new computer that I'm building. BTW what movie is that, the one set in medieval times with Til Schweiger.

  • The Movie is called "(T)raumschiff Surprise - Periode 1". It's an Star-Wars parody..

  • very good video!

sorry may you tell me how do you take it? which program do you use? I used VLC but I'd got a lot of problem.

  • I captured the Screen with xvidcap, codec was DivX, downscaled in Realtime from 1280x960 to 320x240

  • how can you do that?i want the same thing for my pc if you can help me,thnx in advance !

  • This is only for Linux. So you have to install a Linux-Distribution of your choice. I chose Ubuntu 6.10, because it's userfrendly and comes with Xorg 7.1, which is a condition (beside Xgl) to get Beryl to work.
