Just a short workout you can do for your abdominals. Crunches are about the best way to develope stronger, leaner abs. Do note that you will need to adjust your nutrition habits and exercise more to create a negative energy level. Your body will respond to that negative energy level by burning body fat to get the energie it needs!

This is how the routine looks like:
30 repetitions in 60 seconds (1 second up, 1 down)
20 seconds break
15 repetitions in 60 seconds (2 seconds up, 2 down)
20 seconds break
10 repetitions in 60 seconds (3 seconds up, 3 down)
20 seconds break
15 repetitions in 60 seconds (2 seconds up, 2 down)
20 seconds break
30 repetitions in 60 seconds (1 second up, 1 down)

  • Jerome, what are the benifits of doing ab workouts when you already have a visible set of abs???????

  • @uuukkjj The core is one of the most important set of muscles, because they help you to keep your body in balance for example. If you got strong abs and a strong lower back then you will see that lifting heavier weights becomes easier. A lot of strenght comes from the core. Besides, ab exercises aren't made to get visible abs as you might know. Nutrition and losing weight is how you get 6 pack abs. And last, if you got a huge chest, you don't stop pumping.

  • @uuukkjj You simply have to keep working out your muscles to keep them that way.

  • @binfile Never been a big fan of that exercise. Takes to long and it's uncomfortable. Overal the plank is a pretty decent exercise though!

  • @jlvi13 Yeah, it is bad for your posture, but as long as you keep your neck stress free it is safe. Do you perform plank exercises for abs? What do you think about them?

  • @binfile My head is just in a neutral position. Some might prefer to keep their heads straight in line with the rest of the body and look at the ceiling, I prefer to look in front of me, since that's where the stopwatch was. As I said before, there is no stress on my neck or spine, so it's not a problem.

So basicly it's not doing any good, but nothing bad either.

  • @jlvi13 That forward/backwards movement that you do with your neck is not doing any good, try to keep the neck in straight line with your chest.

Aside from the neck thing, good video!

  • @masterph200012345678 If you got a link for me or can describe it in a personal message then I can see if it can be replaced alright?

  • Hi Jerome. Do you saw Pavel Tsatsouline, beyond crunches dvd ? There is a crunch exercise in his dvd, but you need a partner to do it or a device that he named pavelizer. If you know what i am talking about, my question is if you have any idea how to do the exercise without a partner or the pavelizer device?

  • @jlvi13 Ok, thank you for helping me (or all of us) when we have a question!!!
