Liberal Fascism (part one)

Many of the things that fascist liberals push that are allegedly good for us, actually end up harming us.

Such as the Kyoto treaty, many other so-called forms of environmentalism, Global Poverty Act, so-called "peace activism", socialized health-care, allegedly fighting big business.

The Kyoto treaty (and many other forms of environmentalism), essentially sacrifices our sovereignty, and allows other governments to tax us and legislate some of our laws. It's also a form of global social welfare "Robin Hood" steel from the rich to give to the poor. It destroys the big business in the US they can't meet the tough labor laws, labor costs and environmental standards. The big US businesses essentially break up, and moved to foreign countries where the labor laws are cheaper and there are less labor laws and environmental laws. The net result is the businesses US businesses fracture and coalesce to become even larger foreign/world businesses, that pollute more are less law-abiding and more likely to use sweatshop labor: like with children in dangerous working conditions.

The Global Poverty Act, is essentially a major tax increase for the US taxpayer, to be forced to have more of a commitment to foreign welfare (even to countries that are hostile to us). It's another form of socialism banditry, as Robin Hood idealism. It would make the Iraq war look cheap.

The so-called "peace activists" that are against the war on terror, therefore they are inadvertently promoting terrorism. Some of them are more direct and egregious, such as the fascist liberals that faked war atrocities (and the liberal media and politicians in such that jumped on the bandwagon with the false accusations), that inspired hatred and more anti-Americanism, that is still being used to raise funds for terrorism. The "peace activists" are aiding and abetting terrorism. Many of the so-called "peace activists" are actually promoting terrorism and hate.

Unfortunately they are too shallow minded to pay attention to all the facts and logic.

Liberals will often resort to any method to achieve their objectives, even if it is immoral. Any means to accomplish their objectives. They often don't care or are oblivious to the end outcome (the full impact of their agenda and methodology).

Socialized medicine, actually is a front for big business, it destroys the current health-care industry itself, but the government becomes the health-care industry. It would almost certainly make health care more bureaucratic, less choice, more rationed (longer waiting lists and more denials), more government control. (In other words they will probably find some excuse to dodge giving you care, or refusing to give you care on the grounds that you need to try "politically correct" treatment first. In other words the government is going to tell you that you can't smoke, you can't drink, they're going to tell you what to eat, how much exercise to get, what type of exercise, ect...) The government will end up dictating your life.

You might be told that you can't play ball sports, or other athletic sports or activities that might be deemed risky.

Hitler may have called his party the Nationalist Socialists, but there was nothing socialist about them. To say that the Nazis or even the Communists are socialists is to misunderstand the term.

George Orwell said of Stalin's communism 'it's spirit and practice are quite alien to anything that is meant by Socialism'. Orwell was himself a democratic socialist.

Also, a key feature of all fascist states is an almost rabid nationalism. Would you accuse the left or the right of rabid nationalism?

Hitler used socialism and nationalism much like Oboma; nationalizing banks, nationalizing the automotive industry, nationalizing healthcare, using pseudoscience and environmentalism to nationalize lands, material, industry, ect... from the stance of our founding fathers, socialism and communism are very similar and largely anti-American.

You're totally ignoring the facts and logic.

This guy might be correct to say that Fascism is leftist, but there's absolutely nothing "liberal" about it. Anyone who loves liberty is a liberal. The founding fathers of the U.S. were liberals. Liberalism is NOT the same as leftism.

aridchicken: A good true liberal is largely conservative like Jesus. Whereas political "liberals" are what us conservatives often call "fascist liberals" are much like Hitler or Obama. Many of you seem to not get the point that not all liberals are fascists. However it seems that under the guise of liberalism that fascism has become so popular that it is the majority.

You're an idiot. The United States is not one or the other it is both a republic and a polyarchy. In a way a republic is a type of polyarchy. The United States is a blend of different governing systems; mostly a republic with a large component of democracy and a little bit of socialism. A little bit of socialism in the right places can be beneficial for this country;regretfully Socialism is becoming too powerful and is being applied to the wrong places and is destroying this country

Communism and fascism are the same thing in that their end results are exactly the same, a giant and oppressive government. Socialism is the foundation for both.

Anybody today who believes socialism is a good idea or benign is an ignorant fool who needs a lesson in history.

Look who the heroes are for today's left: mao, che, castro, stalin and now chavez. There is a pattern of the left loving dictators. One has to wonder why they claim to hate hitler because he acted out everything they want.

Example 1. Labor unions, the majority of the people in a union vote democrat and consider themselves liberals. Modern Fascism is voluntary these days. The masses dont understand or care whats happening. The fact that you compared them to Islamic extremists is not unfounded. Infact, the biggest supporter of Islamic fundamentalist movements around the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran, derives its ideology from a Shia flavour of Islamic Socialism. Remember how Nazis were the National Socialists? Well, these guys are the religious kind. Same kind of "third way" solutions on the economy and on top of it all, a call for "muslims of the world, unite"(now what does THAT sound like? hint hint).

Liberals claim to be very open and tolerant-they are tolerant ONLY if you agree with their point of view. If you don't, they won't have a civil argument about the issue, but they resort to peronal attacks-name calling and violence even. They remind me of Islamic extremists.
