Alan Merrill, 2 Out Of 3 Ain't Bad, Neverland Express

Alan Merrill, with his version of "2 Out Of 3 Ain't Bad"- Alan was with the Meat Loaf band (Neverland Express) for several years in the latter half of the 1980s, and as usual with this artist, he doesn't waste learning the songs after he leaves the band. He often covers them, as well as writing his own material of course.
Alan sang lead and played the acoustic and electric guitars on this Jim Steinman penned song.
I enjoyed making this psychedelic slideshow, featuring Alan and Japanese model Yoshiko Mandai. Photos courtesy of Levy Waung, staff photographer of the Tokyo Weekender magazine in the seventies. Also some stills from the Arrows Show were mixed in, thanks to Ali Crossman of the UK.

Unexpected release from Alan. I like it a lot, just wasn't ready for him to cover this, even though I know he played with Meatloaf for a while.
