Maulana has some valid points, by creating Pakistan, we left our muslim brothers in india helpless, in front of hindus....but, atlast, Pakistan was the will of Allah swt. so it happened....

GREAT THINKER, FARSIGHTED,AND STRAIGHT FORWARD PERSONALITY.
HIS WORRIES AND CONCERNES TOWARDS MUSLIM OF THE SUB CONTINENT WERE APPRECIABLE.HIS APPREHENSIONS WERE PROVEN RIGHT. ONE SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS SEVERAL TIMES TO UNDERSTAND HIS STAND.

A true Indian nationalist. His mother was from Mecca and father was from Bengal, India. He met his wife when he was in Mecca for a long sojurn. Azad was a great scholar, mainly taught in traditional way,( i.e not in Western Insitutes). He was all for Hindu-Muslim unity and did not believe in the partition of India, which was brought about mainly by the British policy of 'divide and rule', because Britishers were almost thrown out of India in 1857 by the combined forces of Hindus/ Muslim rulers.
