IMPORTANT: This particular Kailerra dll only supports up to two players as far as I know but it runs really great. Not like there are many 3-4 player games on the NES, but you never know when you might want more than two players. There may be a way to solve this but as for now this dll is a good way to go for those who have not-so-good connections. I'm still testing as to whether this can work with emulators that support Kailerra such as Gens+, though I've only had luck with Nestopia. FCEU is out of the option since it has a built in netplay function and does not support Kailerra. Rocknes is the same case. I tried epsxe and it worked, however, when playing with a friend, were were inconsistent and extremely out of sync. Funny thing is, it would show up as CyberPad 3.0 in the netplay dll setup window, yet it still worked as the new Kailerra dll.
The standard Kailerra dll that comes with Nestopia, however, should work fine for those who do not have connection issues or have a decent. For me, the standard Kailerra would constantly skip, lag horribly, and sometimes even drop players when playing. However, once I came across this new dll, NES gaming has never been better and it runs as if I'm playing on local LAN.

  • Can i ask something again

While playin on netplay, how you can state save?

  • @93bendzsi

It should work the same way as you would play offline. Using the regular load/save state method would open up a popup window & interrupt gameplay. However, you can use the quick load/save state feature. It has up to 10 slots. To save, just hold shift & any number from 1 to 0 on the keyboard . To load, press the same number you chose to save your state without holding shift & it will load it. I haven't tried using states during netplay before so I'm not sure if it disables it or not.

  • @RetroFusionGaming yeah i know how to use it, but while playing netplay it wont let me do it

Its disabled, and i wondering how can i fix this :/

  • @93bendzsi

It looks like it was intentionally made to disable the use of states. I tried everything and nothings wrong on my end but the states will gray out and remain un-selectable.

  • Link works now.

Then all what I have to do is download The program and the dll ? I heard once that it is p2p , silly for a NES emulator but i just want to make sure . another thing is i have RockNESX and want to play with a friend and we both have a 4mb connection . I didn't try it yet but i was told it is very bad and never works . is there any kind of configurations to do to make it run better ? because i really love RockNESX and hate to get away from it , thanks in advance

  • @myself L2spell, type, and whatever else.

  • Do you know if it is possible to have the 2 connected computers each with their controller set to pad 1, so you could have 2 people could essentially "switch off" on playing levels of a 1 player game?

  • DID YOU RECORD THIS WITH A TOASTER ?

  • I want that link too!

  • Um... This didn't really help, better recorder quality (CAMStudio is pretty epic for it) would help ._.
