To Write, Direct and Edit in 48hrs, FatCat Films took the bet, like 2700 other crews from around the world, and won.
With TRANSFER, Pierre Zandrowicz, Antoine Cayrol and Victor Lech won the best picture award of the 48 hours Film Project 2008 during the Miami International Film Festival.

On the menu : Constraints and an imposed genre : To make a horror movie inserting a bathing cap, the sentence "There's a crisis" and the character of Thierry or Thérèse Beautheac;airline pilot.

Thierry Beautheac is an Airline Pilot.
Charmer and handsome, he's leaving a peaceful life in Paris, when he's not in between NYC and Tokyo.

  • wow! i loved this one so much. You should make your own full length movies, because you are really talented!

  • What an awsome story. This should be full length. He's like a transfer vampire! LOL

  • Usually those 48h contest winners are crap, this could be a full length pic.

  • that was just incredible. What city did you compete in? This film won top prize of the entire fest? Well done!

  • Really well shot and well told story. Great job, I really enjoyed this one.

  • wow, amazing. good luck to the jerusalem team shhoting as i speak for 2009. next year i will enter. meantime doing documentary.

  • Wow. Nice job. One of the few 48 hour films I've actually liked.

  • This is immediately enthralling, enigmatic and stylised. I liked the cinematography, and felt it caught Thierry's predicament well, it was edgy and so was he, in many ways...his menace, his malevolance, the immediacy of the threat to his own 'existence'.

  • The casting was a lucky break (i don't know what size of pool you had to draw on, but i thought the actor who plays Thierry has all the presence of Daniel Autiel....no small thing. The make up and effects (the shower scene are small and perfect...) I liked the claustrophobia of the sink scene in the cafe toilet, well done....a great example of what can be achieved from the 48 hour project.
