  • Can someone tell me what hes saying I would love to hear it but I cant understand Danish as well as I thought

  • Peter is telling the story of one night when Preben was doing the part of phantom. In second act where Phantom shoots fireballs after Christine and Raoul he antecedently sets his own hat on fire. Then a guy from techniques comes running in with a fire blanket, throws it over Preben (in front of all the audiences) graps the hat and runs out before Preben gets a chance to see what's going on. That's pretty much the clue, but no way as fun translated as in Peters live and acting version ;-)

  • hahahaha thankyou soooooooooooooooooooooo much! thats a cue story

  • I hope it can help you get Peters fantastic epic tale a little better, cause he's brilliant in this anecdote. :-D

  • I don't perfectly understand the Danish (I'm Swedish) - did Kristensen SING "the light's back and my hat's gone", or did he THINK it? I wish I'd been there to see it.

Saw Peter Jorde in Phantom yesterday, it was fabulous. He came across a extremely tall, perhaps because CHristine (Teresia Bokor) is petite.

  • Preben thought 'the lights back, but who took my hat???' at least that's how Peter tells the tale. I would have loved to see it irl too, but this comic, yet epic tale of it is great fun when I weren't able to see it irl!!

But it could have been even more comic if Preben had indeed sung it like you suggested!!
