I honestly think the post 'punk' period ( around 1980 to about 1988 ) was the true golden age of music. It produced artists such as cocteau twins, souxsie and the banshees, severd heads, nitzer ebb, front 242, depeche mode,
skinny puppy, the smiths... and cabaret voltaire.
Growing up with this music and culture gives me the fondest of memories. It was and still is my sanity away from the mainstream culture.

No one can touch the Cabs IMO. They had it all. Early attic noise tapes, amazing electro punk tracks, dark as fuck paranoid electronic funk...damn, they are my favorites. I hope they know the inspiration they spread through all they did. Simply the best!
