Bandile is the leader of the 28 Number gang. He is told that he is going to be
released from prison. Bandile does not tell his comrades about his planned release. Diego
his subordinate, jealous of his power conspires against him. An old girlfriend, Xolani,
visits him, she tells him that she had his son and wants them to meet. Diego finds out
about the meeting and uses this to win the rest of the gang over. The gang declares war
with itself and a new leader must be found but Bandile will not step down without a fight.
Bandile has to choose between a life that he never had or the gang that he knows.

@nolifemerc the 28s are the gang who sodomize new inmates they called a frans (non-gangster or nothings). The 28s have two lines, the blood line and the silver line. The blood line are the fighters of the 28s while the silver line are the sex slaves of the blood line but members like John and Magadien Wentzel decline this and they think they the thinkers of the 28s.

@nolifemerc the Number control every prison in South and if u watched the Ross Kemp episode featuring the notorious John Mongrel u should know little of it. Those guys including John were stingy about the number, they just told Ross what is going on in prison and how they run the prison. They only speak their secrets in sabela. The Number got three gangs 26s, 27s and 28s. The 26s focus on thief, they rob and steal, the 27s are the law keepers and assassins of the gang.

@nolifemerc I think members can't tell about leaving the number and if they did find out that a member leaves the number, he could be killed. Guys like Magadien Wentzel, John Mongrel and other ex members of the number didn't talk about their release to anyone but they still got tattoos on their bodies warning youngsters that prison is not a place to be and gangs are not a group to join.
