How come your channel has nothing on it? Should be some of the "better" players than you think Liona is uploaded for us to check out. Do you play? If so would love to see your videos up. I don't so therefore as a listener and the one who buys music should be the one to say, I think Liona is AWESOME!!

I'm really sorry I hurt your feelings and I'm also a fan of Liona Boyd, but I have studied and listened very carefully many excellent guitarists for more than 30 years and my perception of Liona is that she plays using more nail than flesh, eventhough she is en excellent performer. Compare with the "sound" of Segovia, Williams, Bream, Romero, Barrueco, for example.

Her interpretation is excellent but she uses too much nail. The nice quality of sound produced on the classical guitar is obtained with nails not too long and mixing the touch with nail and flesh. Compare with John Williams or Segovia.

She is perhaps the only one in youtube that plays this piece completely. Others omit the most difficult section, that of harmonics in the lower strings and slurs in triplets in the higher strings. She lacks quality of sound altogether in this piece.
