The John Lee Hooker classic, Boom Boom, is a must-know tune and a jam favorite. I tried to take it all apart for you in the video, note for note. Enjoy :)

  • You are amazing.

I don't even know if you will respond to this, but I have an Epiphone Les Paul and I can't quite get the same sound, and my strings feel really stiff when I try to bend. This is the only guitar I have that does that! But yet my best sounding one. Could you help me? Thanks

  • @MasonGuitarGuy Thanks for the kind words :) Strings too stiff: what gauge are they? Maybe a lower gauge would help? Also, it's a Gibson scale, therefore shorter than a Fender scale, which may account for the difference in feel? Be well :)

  • Mojo. God bless you and your family. You are so generous to give such great gifts to others. We can tell it comes from your heart. Great things will come to you and your family.Peace be with you.

  • Thanks for the very kind words/wishes :)
