  • The ultimate "test" for ANY so-called mental illness is made by how one (the patient or client) flourishes socially, i.e., social conflict and means of coping with same. The aim of the MH profession is, perforce, to alter the individual by way of treatment modality that emphasizes social "reintegration". For instance, the child who is "diagnosed" with ADHD is usually poisoned to render him/her docile and more malleable; in effect, the school (classroom teacher) is the one who benefits most.
