Moreover, I wonder how it is you can have such a beef with waterboarding but remain silent on things FAR WORSE than waterboarding.

Also, it may be of interest to note that the US has succesfully prosecuted people for waterboarding (simulated drowning) in the past.

Changing torture to enhanced interrogation doesn't alter the action itself - it's still torture!
