@smeghead666 As a previous national champion myself (and friend of Luke), I have to agree with Spiritman. Yoyoing just isn't high impact enough to make it far in a competition like this, and to the layman, it all looks the same after a minute or two.

Burning yoyos.... And yes, it's quite fascinating and he's damn skilled at it to be very honest. However, as one of the judge said, not many people would pay to watch that and even if he's through this round, I don't think he'd be able to reach high in the competition.

I'm guessing the purpose of this guy's performance was to illustrate the full potential of a Yo-Yo. And he did it well. Yo-Yo's hold much more talent than people give credit for by the looks of this. It proves it's not just a piece of plastic on string designed to reel up and down from the forces put on it.

@smeghead666 Yes, talented in the field of entertainment, otherwise you could have a talented surgeon performing brain surgery on stage, or a talented pilot demonstrating how he controls a stunt plane.
