@IntrospecRundown I have now way of knowing what Trotsky would've done differently, and I didn't say it would have been better.
I just said Staling was a fascist asshole, and he was.
Personally, I don't think socialism is a realistic idea on a large scale. However when it comes to small communities, not larger than a thousand people, it can (and did) work perfectly well.
On a large scale, social-democrat is the way to go, and none of these bolsheviks were ones (as far as I am aware of).
Under Trotsky, the Soviet Union would have remained an agricultural society for many years at least until World War II. Trotsky would've promoted international revolution while Stalin promoted domestic nationalism. This is perhaps the biggest difference between the two. Either way, dialectical materialism juges humans as assests not "people."
My point is that either way, one would have experienced the same type of totalarism under either regime.
@TheSmirlis What made Trotsky #1 for me was reading about the time he cried about buttons as a child in his autobiography. Did Che ever openly admit to crying about buttons as a child? I think not.
@Cheeseisgood7789 No!!! Its Che&Lenin>Trotsky&Fidel&Mao>everyone else>Stalin>Hitler&Papadopoulos(the bloody dictator of Greece...)>Franco.
Che and Lenin were with the people. Trotsky,Fidel and Mao were great personalities, Stalin was a fool but not the worst.Trosky wasnt better than Lenin or Che ;)
