OTC Pegisys Demo Mode

By selecting Demo Mode, you can use your tool only for demonstration purposes, registration is not necessary. The tool will not communicate to a vehicle in Demo mode. The diagnostic functions of the tool are not activated for vehicle diagnostics until it is registered.

What we would like to do now is take you through simple new vehicle entry. The graphics on the tool walk you through the steps of entering a new vehicle. You can enter year, make and model information as well as sub-model information quickly and easily by touching the icons on the touch screen.

Once the controller is designated, the tool allows you, in Demo mode, to go through a variety of different test functions. Here we are going through DataStream.

In System Settings, you may check a variety of different functions such as date and time or, look at network configurations, change the language or check for Software Updates.

Back buttons are located on the touch screen in the upper right-hand corner, and the above the right Speed Scroll. Menu buttons are located upper left on the touch screen and above the left Speed Scroll.

You can print from virtually any screen on the tool. Check the Users Guide on the tool, in the help section for printer set up.

Checking for Software Updates can also easily be done in Demo Mode. Press Utilities under the playback menu and then press Software Updates. If you have an active internet connection, the tool will automatically inform you if you have updates available.

In our next example in Demo Mode, the user is searching through Direct Hit Technician to find pertinent information on vehicle systems and subsystems. A huge amount of information is available through this subscription based service we offer on the tool.
