Wow, I never thought of it that way. I always just thought the narrator's girl was leaving for somewhere but with the title, that makes a hell of a lot of sense. Thanks for the awesome analyzing. This song is even more heartbreaking than I realized.

@bhockeyjesus I always saw it as the narrator realizing his relationship wont last or is ending and just sorta accepting the whole situation as his relationship dies. But i like your idea aswell
