u dont really have to sign your replies, it shows your sn in the top left corner. btw, i tried to run the live cd but it wouldn't load, which is sad cause this looks so kewl. is it gnome or kde enviroment?

I also use compiz but how do you make the pages separate while you have the cube? I mean how do you leave spaces between windows as you make cube? Which settings of compiz did you use?

I used the the compizFusion Settings Manager, increased the transparency on cube rotation then set a Linux Mint wallpaper as the background.

I have a friend that is helping me learn computer tech stuff.
He wants me to find a good linux distro, this looks pretty promising.
Do you know any others?

In regard to Linux distros your friend can try openSuSE, UBUNTU, and Linux Mint.
For some UNIX fun he can try FreeBSD.
