My first train at Folkston, Georgia, is northbound empty grain train G157-28. When I pulled in at the platform, I learned that I had barely missed southbound loaded grain train G118-27, so obviously the grain had to get through that morning, the 29th of December. I was happy to see an old EMD leading, and would soon find out that I would see many more on this awesome trip to one of the many great trainwatching spots in the Southeast and Georgia. Enjoy!

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!! I can't wait to go back here! I will probably be going around the same time as last year (2009).

  • Thanks man! I know, I'm already wanting to plan another trip down there. It's just too much fun!

  • Just wondering, did somebody put something up about Cookie Williams? A memorial or something? I found out about two weeks ago that he died.

  • I'm not sure if someone put something up or not.

  • I have not heard of his death. I meet you there last year. I went back a few months latter and meet him
