I think there should be no federal minimum wage. If some one wants to work for $.01 an hour, let them, guess what, no one will. States can decide individually. Then our dollar would be worth a lot more.

That wasn't your original point. You said you thought business should present a benefit package. If you want to work for someone else, then get the best job you can, and who offers a benefit package. Most times you either get a good salary and no benies! If your getting a fair salary and benefits, like health care, vaction time, sick leave, you wont get paid as much. You have this illusion that running a business is easy, you haven't a clue what it entales.

Then start your own business and see the freaking headaches you go through employing people! You say you think, I dont think you do, especially when you've never ran a company! I have a small business, and the cost to insure just in workmen's comp is outrageous, but its the law! Then you have your licenses, business insurance, FICA, Captial gains tax, fed tax, county taxes, salaries, and supply expenses. Unions and their demands have out sourced millions of jobs over seas.
