Western
with John Wayne, Henry Fonda and Shirley Temple
The strict Colonel Thursday is transferring to Fort Apache, an isolated outpost of the army. He is the more of the popular Captain York. Because Thursday is of the opinion that there is not enough discipline in the camp he puts the young lieutenant O'Rourke to ideal example. However, that when an eye drop on the daughter of the Colonel, he has the verkorven soon ...
@jethro035181 Yes, I noticed that too. Hollywood loved using desolation as their set. Gave it that ol' "out West" feel.

Excellent John Ford western epic set against the vast grandeur of the monument valley. A drama, adventure, love story, western military travelogue with slapstick and a musical thrown in. Fonda excells and Wayne gives his usual strength and honor. Temple became a lovely still talented woman. Ford is the star and his considerable talent is evident in every scene.
