  • ...This is supposed to be an intelligent conversation. When you react appropriately, I'll continue with it. I suggest you read Temple Grandin's book, Thinking in Pictures. Also, counter argue all of the scientific research that has gone into Autism. Tell all of those scientists that they're wrong, then get back to me.

  • @flj7 oh my god, please think more. almost every action are caused by need for attention. if a child doesnt learn how to interact and deal with emotions from the parents he will keep using primitive behavior and never or really slowly progress in socializing and interacting with people.

    Its so obvious.

  • @veryfuck Actions such as hand flapping are not caused by a need for attention. Explain hand flapping behaviors in a child who is emotionally withdrawn, i.e. does not communicate or interact with other people. If a child isn't willing to interact, then why would they try for attention?

  • These dogs are saving our children's life. My life is always in a panic everyday wondering will my son will run off in front of a car, will he climb a ladder if he sees it cause he has no fear. 3 months ago we were stopped at a light, my son saw a broke down car, and decided I'm going to get out and help, I about died when I heard the car door open, I didn't know he knew how to take the safety off the door. These kids are very smart, regardless of them being autistic. I am so ready for our dog.

  • I wonder do they have service dogs for people with seizures? I had a friends red nose pitt before save me from choking on my tongue during a seizure he laid up against my back and kept me on my side to keep me from choking

  • Mt autism service dog has changed my life

  • Thanks for posting this, its really interesting, im using it for my ToK project :)
