I live in south Texas...so I roller skate by default. No ice down here, just one overpriced ice-rink. I think it just depends what you're used to. I'm used to wheels, so when I get on ice I'm wobbling in all directions. Besides the point, I do derby, so I'm basically just skating in a circle the whole time. Either way, I think both ice skating and roller skating are beautiful forms of artistic athleticism :)

@ridingskatingHPgirl I like ice skating too, anyway XD And I think both are wonderful sports - maybe because are similar - but still I think roller skating is more difficult. I ain't say it's better or that ice skate is an awful sport ;)

@Kaye0032 hey ice skaters are very gacful and any way ice skating was there before roller blading and roller blading stole figure skating so ice skating is way better

I guess I have to give her credit since she has only been roller skating 3 years but frankly her jumps and spins are aweful.

@sweetkagome99 Yeah, and it's so hard to make them fast and balanced D: On Ice it's so easy, ice skaters do an half of the job we have to do, and not just on spins... But roller skating is beautiful, plus you can practice everywhere (well, not exactly but still in more places than ice skaters)!

roller skating its MORE difficult because you have 4 wheel on each feet so you have to contrlo them also they are heavier and you can do a LOT of thing more than in ice so you better SHUT UP :)
