check FCC Part 15.247 you can't just blast 1 watt of power out there. you need to follow the rules! i hope they catch you...

I had one of those before two years, yes they are good but do not expect miracles.
You get about 15% more signal that what you had before.
I have a Linksys WET54G bridge and external directional antenna, the damn bridge needs about 20% signal reception so to connect with the other end.
This booster helps to stabilize the link a lot .
I sold the first unit later on, as I got ADSL by contract, but now I will buy another one soon.
I got back the the WiFi world again.
It works .. yes it does.

They really are good, I use one in the UK on my Netgear DG834GT and the boost to the signal is great, so is my wireless speed. It went from a very low signal at 12mbps to a strong signal and 54 mbps. I have the computer some distance from the router and the house tends to stop the RF quite well without a little extra help. I would definitely suggest buying one.
