Can anyone plz help me. when I use the Elliptical Marqee tool it says: "warning no pixels are more then 50 % selected. The selection edges will neit be visible."

use the magnetic laso tool to cut the icon and then new layer via cut.

How to save icon without this black bordering? Anybody has an idea?

you use the magicwand tool and click on the black area. Once you have done that clcik delete. You should have a transperent backround so it should make gray and white square pattern. Save this as a png, bitmap, or jpeg.(png and bitmap recommended)

i didnt find this tht had but adjusting the settings to the way i liked was a little bit of a challenge because i wanted it too look as much like the logo as posible thanks for the tut howard
