Railroad of 1869; Aviation---once those sys become 'self-rep' then govt can back off major funding. Without NASA Apollo development of private rocket ops would be many many yrs behind the '8 ball'.

GO take some science courses! Terraforming Mars has been the biggest con which even possible would not see results for thousands of yrs! Total waste of money and resources. I argue it is because of many factors besides a core full of radioactive heavy metals i argue it goes beyond that and requires the support of underground life plus ocean plus clouds plus we don't know all yet.
