@binbashLinuxAhole Actually "driving rain" does have an effect on trajectory but its more of a side to side shift than up to down and yes in a perfect world of physics nothing would happen but is this a perfect world?

@turboneegs its iraq not iran,buy im sure you meant that. us marines, usaf navy and all that stuff was there after sadam, to help out the country. i would know i was there. and iraq could have had soilders or just plain pissed off muslims shiped to help out. even as a soilder im still not told any of the "secrets" and i just dont care. and im sure wikipedia knows way way more than the colonal majors and stuff

@KuraiKarma I have been in Warfare Science for more than 3 years before went to study Computer Science. It takes more than half a mag of the M16A3 to hit the fuel box of full-speed flying Mil Mi-24 from 300 m. And you are trying to tell me a 50 m range 12 gauge shotgun can hit a hi-tech flying object with just a few shots?
Clearly bluffing or just being redneck afterall.

@L0j1k Perhaps you missed more than half of your little research. Bundeswehr University hosted German Federal Armed Forces Uni at time which they shared part of west side Bundeswehr campus and I had to attend Bundeswehr for science classes/lectures until summer 1997.
"What kind of rounds?" I believe your combatant history does heavily conflict with this question. What kind of round does the M16A3 use? And its standard mag size?
You should know it if you were a 4 year infantry man.
