It was absolutely perfect and unable to be made any better The way John made it.
So it is back to the drawing board for you, I'm not blaming you for trying it is just you should know perfection when you hear it instantly if you have any kind of ear at all. It would be like trying to change the music to Tom Sawyer by Rush , aint gonna happen in our lifetime and sound any better .

@Rafahpm I'm as sad as you are about it, but I can almost guarantee it will not be used in Man of Steel. They are distancing themselves from the Donner/Reeve/Smallville universe.

Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan, do me a favor: DON'T CHANGE SUPERMAN MAIN THEME! Superman movie without the classic John Williams theme just starts with the wrong foot for me. The main theme and the Krypton Theme, two masterpieces can't ever be changed.

Unlike Batman who goes through different themes; SUPERMAN'S theme was gotten right the first time. Superman does not need a different theme anymore than he needs a new name or different colors on his uniform. Why confuse long time fans and future generations. People know when the powerful Williams rhythm is pumping and Clark is pulling his shirt back looking the business;...THIS IS A JOB FOR SUPERMAN!!!
