A tutorial guide showing how to make and record time lapse videos using Adobe Premiere Elements 3.0 http://www.simuk.com/a/p-B000IBBL7W

If this video inspires you to try making your own timelapse video, then upload it to YouTube and post it as a video response!

Apologies for the bad narration - I'm still not too keen on talking to a microphone...

  • ok so were did you get the cloud part did you have a vid of clouds or what

  • I made it by pointing a camera at the sky and capturing the timelapse frames as shown.

  • Thank you for posting! I'm having problems finding tuts on Elements 4 though, do you have this version? I'm muddling though at the moment :0)

  • I haven't gone for Premiere Elements 4 no, as I didn't think there were really enough new features/changes. I've now moved over to Sony Vegas Movie Studio 8 (although, that doesn't have the same time lapse/stop frame features, so still using Elements 3 for that)

  • someone is talking to you on msn XD

  • They're not - MSN wasn't loaded. The program which is blinking on the taskbar is the Logitech Quickcam capture software which runs when the webcam is activated.

  • Hello Guys ,

We have developed this iOS App called Quick Lapse HD for time lapse video recording on iPhone/iPod. Please check it and give us your feedbacks on how to make it better.

    Thanks in Advance

  • @nm377129 You can if you have a mac, google 'time-lapse gawker' and download it. If not I can't really help you sorry.

  • @DWAx1999 It can be done, if you haven't already found out,

1). Import all the photos you've taken into windows movie maker

2). Find the options tab in the drop down menus, then go to the 'advanced' settings.

3). Then set the picture duration to its lowest which from memory is 0.125 and the picture duration too (0.25)

4). Select all the images and drop them into the timeline, done.

!To get a nice looking time lapse though download 'windows movie maker 2011' set frames to 0.04 (24 fps) :)

  • @DWAx1999 yes.

  • @buckrogers999 Look up a thing called Magic Lantern.

It shoots timelapse photos straight from the camera which has to be pretty cool.

I have it on my eos 550d

  • how do you create it with a pre recorded video so that i dont have to carry my pc to wherever i am recording the time lapse?

  • how do you make it with a pre recorded video so i dont have to carry a pc around with me all the time and just leave my video camera recording?

  • Could you just record a long film fast forward it in an editing system?

  • is the program free to download?
