Your room is filled with awesome posters.

I felt like this was a tribute to Keats's poems and his inspiration.
I felt like Ben Whishaw was like Keats's, in the sense that he would have not hogged the screen, like a shy child

Yes, good review. I saw the film yesterday and was a bit irritated by it. Lush, but a few holes. I agree Abbey Cornish was strong - but how did she manage to sew all those dresses while still having time to frolic in the flowers and how did she earn her money as well - as a seamstress? Yes Keats was weak but pretty, that other guy was a bit much - Mr Brown. I should know better than to watch Jane Campion films - The Piano irritated me beyond belief!

Very good review. I wasn't sure about this film so I think I'll take you advice.
I only saw Atonement last week and I found it incredibly depressing and Keira Knightley really irritating and I usually love her!! I couldn't really get past that when it came to the love story, so it didn't touch me as much as it should have sadly.
James McAvoy though is a legend, he can do anything and will be one of the greatest.
Nothing against you or anything, but I'm pretty darn sure John Keats was never called Johnathan, he was just John. I've never read that anywhere in any biographies that his name was ever Johnathan.
And in my opinion, I adore this movie. It blew me away. Yes, it is slow in some parts but I think that just shows the pure beauty of this film...but you are entitled to your opinion.

@purpleshamrock17 wow u r probably right
I was in a play once that mentioned Keats and one of my lines said "Jonathan Keats" so Ive been saying that. I am probably wrong though. thanks 4 correcting me.

Um sorry if this is a off topic comment about this video but i was curious if you seen 'Slumdog Millionaire' or 'The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.' If you have did you like it? If not you should really see them.

Ive seen both.
I hated Benjamin Button.
I enjoyed Slumdog but thought it was overrated.

I agree with you. Atonement doesnt have the emotional potency as other films, but you would have to agree that it is extremely beautiful to look at.
and yes, McAvoy is amazing!!! I love him!
