There is something about the English that uniquely allows them to produce relatively successful lunatics.
I'm thinking of the director who addresses the convention as "boys and girls".
-
That would be cool though. Except I hate some of these remakes.

I`d like to buy terry`s tie!

Pure class act. And he's right of course... Avon *would* smile.

sg1danny11 I think it was Jan Chappell who played 2 parts in a story.
-
@42paulm A lot of performers like to fudge their age :)
-
paul said it was his 30th birthday party, he was born 2nd may 1941 that makes him 40 in 1981.come on paul who you trying to kid

It is so good when actors show so much relish in a role so long ago. Today perhaps it could be made with Avon more a pirate leader and Blake the idealist persuading him into 'humanitarian aid'
-
Thank you very much indeed for posting this interview with Paul. Smashing fellow.
-
affluent speaker? Do you mean eloquent?
-
this is excellent stuff, Paul Darrow is a very affluent speaker, even now when you see him on television his voice is till very distinct it is as though his whole character which is larger than life takes control of what is happening wihtout having to doa whole lot.
-
Only relatively successful? Come on, the majority of succesful English were bonkers.
Come to that, I'm not certain that it doesn't apply to the entire nation as well...
I hope Paul Darrow is in new Blakes7,I spoke to him when he was on Hollyoaks, nice friendly guy.

if it is a re-make I guess he will not be. if it is a sequel, then maybe. As paul says in this video, Terry Nation had a plan for a sequel that had Avon in.
