Bentons Dream

This one came from the mind of Benton Flippen (http://www.myspace.com/bentonflippen) Always amazes me that folks from his generation came up with a tune like this . I do my take on it - but Ray and I always had fun on this . Love Rays enthusiasm - that was Ray all the way !!! On Guitar is Mike Resnick. This is also from a long past Black Creek gathering. You can hear Ray playing this with the man himself on "Ray`s Dream " produced by Bruce Molsky for the FCR (http://www.fieldrecorder.com/ ) Put together in record time to be handed out at Ray`s request at his memorial service. Thanks again Ray !

This is fantastic. I've been "winging it" on the banjo with this tune for a few years, but Ray's version is amazing. Thanks for posting. Going to learn this very version. The music lives on.
