West African Tour IV (Ghana 2007- Panafest-50 yrs of Independance)

This waa trip sponsored by the MANDALA CENTER to Ghana in August 2007. Fortunately, for the group, it was the anniversary of Ghana,s 50 years of independance from English colonization. Unknown to most of us, a celebration to comemorate the 50 years took place. It was a symbolization of the return of Black American (slaves) to their ancestorial homes. nd what a celebration it was. There were tribial performances for many parts of Africa and other parts of the world.
