Mass Effect (PC) Insanity Vanguard: P1 Introduction

This will be a more comprehensive movie, especially for those who don't have the game (PC version), or simply have an appreciation for such an awesome game, played on Insanity mode, using a Vanguard. These will be added to a new playlist. The movies can also be used as a gameplay guide. Although I'm more of a twitch gamer, way more used to FPSs, I wanted to attempt using Biotics. The Vanguard offers shooter style play (and my fav weapon, the shotgun), along with Biotics. Rifle was chosen as an additional bonus skill.

Movie Info: A new, but suspiciously familiar looking character makes a debut appearance aboard the Normandy.

Gameplay info: I'm deliberately playing ME as a shooter with fast, interruption free combat.

I already did it since I posted this comment, lol.

But to clarify what it is: You CAN do it with a second playthrough as long as you change the difficulty BEFORE you leave Eden Prime. So, before you look at the Prothean Beacon. It's MUCH easier on a second playthrough, it's really really hard on a first playthrough

The achievment says that you cannot change the difficulty for the achievment, so I'm pretty sure you need to do it with a new character and have it set on hardcore from the start.

It's nice to see Mass Effect played by someone who's actually good at the game. I have it for 360, but I have to keep the difficulty on Casual or Normal because although I'm pretty good at tactical and RPG elements, I can't shoot with dual-analog for shit.

I'm doing Vanguard on Insanity and I'm already level 14... is it a bad idea to throw points into Intimidate for Insanity? Should I be focusing on combat skills instead?

to get the Hardcore/Insanity play-through achievements can I do it with a second play-through character? If so, when do I change the difficulty? I've heard people say you can anytime before the end of Eden Prime but it'd be a LOT of gameplay to do if it's incorrect. Is that correct or no?
