The books are much better. But all in all, it's pretty much naive (they arrive on the scene of the crime before police lol). It's fairly outdated apart from George's sexual orientation (I guess being tomboy was cute back in the 40's).

Thanks for posting this, I got some audio books this is much better than the 'Americanised' adventures. Nothing like England nowadays though.

Takes me back to when I was a teenager. Jenny and her sister used to come up here for the summer holidays. Don't think Jenny really liked the fame much as she hardly ever spoke about her TV role and I think she was just glad to be away from the local people who knew of her fame and just interact with ordinary kids doing what ordinary kids did. She looked quite different in real life as her hair wasn't the same as on TV. One of my friends once commented "you look a bit like that girl off TV" lol
