Ok this is not meant to be a piece of art or anything like that :-P It's basically just me playing around with the different transitions and effects in OpenShot on Linux, using random videos I had in my computer. I do think however that it does well demonstrate what's now possible with user-friendly video editing tools on Linux. OpenShot is quite easy to use and it took me probably less than 2 hours to make this video without reading anything on how to use it. Clips are random, mostly shot in Shanghai and Vietnam. Video made with OpenShot on Ubuntu 64 bits.

  • nice

  • Very nice! You may not have been trying to make art, but you did. It's very well done. I need to play around with OpenShot and see what I can come up with.

  • This is an inspirational video and reminiscent of the videos to great independent artists like Boards of Canada (thinking Dayvan Coybow). Using the same clip for the hook is genius in itself. It truly is a work of art, despite what you may think! I also admire what the OpenShot development team have produced and hope to use it to great effect as I get into video production and editing. Hope we get to see more work from you, most enjoyable to watch. Allow me to give you your first Like vote!
