What I am trying to say from the previous comment is that let one team from each sport use a tradition, such as the 12th man, but don't let multiple teams from the same league use the same concept. Also, to make another point on the "12th man" concept, the NBA's Sacramento Kings retired the number 6, in honor of the "6th man", the fans. So, it's not just Texas A&M or the Seahawks, other teams have jumped on too.
About the fighting over the "12th man" tradition between the Seahawks and Texas A&M, I think both of them should hold that tradition for the simple reason that A&M has their "12th man" tradition for college football, and the Seahawks have theirs for pro football. Take for example The Terrible Towel, it was reused by other teams in other leagues; the Vancouver Canucks refer to it as Towel Power by waving white towels and the Minnesota Twins have the Homer Hanky.
Omg..are you serious? So I have to attend Miami to like and be part of the hurricanes? I have to be born and live in Brazil to say Im brazilian? You should be the one called an idiot. I can name many people who love a college team but cannot afford or simply cant be accepted to go there. But yet they are as loyal as any of those other people who have attended there. Get over the fact Seattle still has it. There is nothing some little Raging boi like you can do about it.
Thats all you have? Give me one logical reason why 1980 suddenly outweighs 1922, and what the hell makes you think "12th man" is nothing more than a football term. Tell me. Oh thats right you can't. You are an idiot. What connects you to a pro team? nothing
What connects one to a college team? the fact that they attend said college.

Texas A&M may have done it first, but Seattle does it RIGHT.
All of you Texas A&M fans that are crying about this...attend a game at Qwest Field before bashing Seahawks fans.

The fans have always been called the 12th man dumbfuck! Who cares about one asshole in 1922 that actually played? Your a douche!

ok my bad. You don't have to attend the college to be supportive, my mistake.
But seattle will never be the true 12th man, and i have yet to hear a good reason other than "anyone can use it" thats weak, very weak.
