My entire family has followed this man in his racing career since the very beginning. I just had to pay him a tribute with a video and this song was perfect and seemed to fit Dale perfectly. Also, you'll find a poem I wrote below on the day Dale Earnhardt passed, which was also selected by AOL and featured in their Dale Earnhardt memorial tribute.
Silent words of remembrance
Echo across the land
Victory flags flying half-mast
Grieving over the empty stands
So many tears shall fall this evening
While condolences are passed along the way
As so many grieve for this moment
That took their hero away
Never shall this day be forgotten
Haunting images forever within our minds
Now only a name and a legacy
Shall the "Intimidator" leave behind
