  • Kotooshu is Bulgarian and he is amazing and his very tall and not too fat.

    I'm Bulgarian

  • Kotooshu won the Emperor's Cup that tournament right? Must've been awesome after his last tournament having to forfeit after an injury and coming back to win the next tournament. I love Sumo but you definitely know a lot more then I do about the fighters because in the U.S. I don't get to watch it on t.v. :(

  • wow, I loved your all videos, especially your nice explanations. Please continue...

  • You might be right if nihonjin rises to the top of sumo.Japan might be reinvigorated to the sport. My wife who is Japanese says she has no interest in sumo. She teaches a Japanese school on weekends ,so I would talk to some of her students about japan. They did not follow sumo either. Personaly I put a sumo athlete right at the top of sports that require physical endurance. Wrestling in general is very hard. Must be really hard when you weigh 300+ pounds.

  • no I don't, but I'll look into it - thanks for the tip.

  • I think that would turn around a little if a Japanese person rose to the highest rank and was dominating the sport the way the Mongolians are at the moment.

The biggest problem with attracting younger viewers is scheduling - each day's action ends at 6pm, and the vast majority of school kids are still at school at 6pm, doing after-school clubs, so they can't ever see matches.

  • I'll get some Ama action posted soon. His match yesterday was fantastic!

  • That is a shame, people should embrace the historic part of their culture.
