so there saying Ford have come a long way from the mk1 Focus rs because it has gone from 225bhp they reckon to 300? first off the mk1 has 212 from the factory not 225 and secondly the mk2 hasn't really been a huge development engine wise,

The mk1 was based on a standard 2.0 zetec putting out 130bhp, the mk2 has a volvo developed and built 2.5 I5, which has been used in the v70,s60 and c30, they were churning out 300bhp at least 6 years before ford started using them,
