WHAT I THINK OF UPCOMING SKYWARD SWORD

Since The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is probably the only new game I'll likely be buying this year, this is a brief summary of my thoughts of the info that's been released on the title so far.

DISCLAIMER: I know this is coming, so allow me to say that there is nothing wrong with playing Call of Duty. The only thing that gets on my nerves is when so-called "gamers" say anything that doesn't look like Call of Duty, Gears of War, ect. is a baby game.

I sort of agree with ZeldaGameGod, but I absolutely loved his truthful review of Twilight Princess, sort of why I subbed in the 1st place.

I really feel like this might not have, as he said in his review, the enticing theme that the less generic, older Zelda games had. And all those side quests that OoT, Majora's, and Windwaker had and open but not hollow at all world.

@MeestaBojangles Well I was watching an interview with Miyamoto and Aonuma where they discussed Skyward Sword's development, and they seemed to have the same problems with Twilight Princess that I did. It seemed like their intent for Skyward Sword was to focus on what made Zelda fun and open without feeling empty and stale, so hopefully their successful in that for this new release.

@TehNubGamer That doesn't seem like too big of a problem to me. I think the player should be free to choose whatever upgrades or items they want to use to complete the game. I don't much like it when your whole arsenal is there just because the game says that you need it.
